Life.

Like most of you, I am waiting for the true "Minnesota Summer" to arrive. Where are the 85' and Sunny days? Some people are saying that it is going to be a cold summer all around, but I have faith...

As most of you know, my summers consist of playing golf and heading to the lake. This summer I have also included some running (1/2 marathon on september 19th). In other words, good luck trying to find me on the weekends. But the one thing that I truly enjoy is competiting in amateur golf tournaments. Not only do I love the competition, but I get to spend a lot of time with my family. A lot of tournaments are around my hometown, Springfield, so it allows me to spend a lot of weekends back home with my friends and family. But most of all, I get to spend a lot of time with my Dad (the worlds best caddy). Since he began caddying when in high school, we have become a pretty fierce duo.

I recently joined a 36 hole golf course in Stillwater, MN (about 10 minutes from work) and I have been fortunate enough to get out and play a fair amount of golf already this summer, so we will see how much this "real-world" really affects my golf game. If you want to follow where I am at and how I am doing, I listed some of my tournaments below.

June 12-14: New Ulm Invitational (New Ulm, MN)
June 19-21: Springfield Invitational (Springfield, MN
June 22-24: MGA Players' Championship (Wayzata, MN)
July 10-12: Palmer Kise Invitational (Redwood Falls, MN)
July 20-22: MGA Amateur Championship (St. Paul, MN)
July 27-31: The Birchmont (Bemidji, MN)
Aug 8-9; State Publinks Championship (Stillwater, MN)

Other than golf, it is officially wedding season. I am anxiously awaiting my sister Jeanno's (and Kevin's) wedding in September! With both of my sisters getting married in such a short time period, I have decided to wait a little while......

With that being said, I hope you all find sushine and warm(er) weather in the days to come. I look forward to catching up with everyone in the near future...

Until next time,

JCL IV
